Planning in Tune with Your Seasons and Reflecting on Your Achievements
On the Make Episode 20 with Kate Harvey from Grace and Flora on planning in tune with your seasons and reflecting on your achievements
You may have come across Kate on instagram as Grace and Flora, that’s where I started following her and her business quite a few years ago now. I love her natural, rustic style and beautiful floral flat lays which incorporate her beautiful nature-inspired jewellery.
A while ago Kate blogged about her take on planning for creative business and she brought up some really interesting points around planning in tune with your own seasons and reflecting on your achievements so I had to get her on the podcast to talk a little more about this. You might not know that Kate is also a therapist so we also chatted about how she juggles her two businesses alongside being a mum and very importantly, a dog owner.
IN THIS EPISODE WE COVER
How Kate juggles her jewellery business and her work as a therapist
How her jewellery business Grace and Flora grew to where it is now
Kates approach to creative business planning (that doesn’t involve much planning)
How to plan in tune with your seasons and our experiences of doing this
Keeping the faith in your business and how Kate does this in her business
How Kate prioritises her to-do’s in her work and life
How Kate’s routine works around her most productive hours
How being in nature inspires her jewellery designs
Kate’s blog post on her approach to creative business planning
Kate’s blog post on maintaining good mental health
